Dr. Tony Campolo

Dr. Tony Campolo is one of North America's most respected Christian communicators. He is professor emeritus of sociology at Eastern University. For ten years he was on the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania. He is the founder and president of the Evangelical Association for the Promotion of Education. Dr. Campolo is married to Peggy. They have two children, and four grandchildren.

Dr. Campolo is a media commentator on religious, social and political matters, having guested on television programs like The Colbert Report, Nightline, Crossfire, Politically Incorrect, The Charlie Rose Show, Larry King Live, CNN Dayside, CNN News and MSNBC News. He is a highly respected and sought after guest on radio stations across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. 

He is the author of 35 books, with the latest releases in February 2008, Red Letter Christians, A Citizen’s Guide to Faith and Politics.

Dr. Campolo is an ordained minister, has served American Baptist Churches in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and is presently recognized as an associate pastor of the Mount Carmel Baptist Church in West Philadelphia.
