You are invited to an inspirational evening celebrating Social Justice and Public Health. The cocktail reception fundraiser will include silent and live auctions, live music, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, and a keynote presentation by Dr. Paul Farmer.
Dr. Paul Farmer has dedicated his life to improving health care for the world’s poorest people. A founding director of the international non-profit organization Partners In Health, Dr. Farmer is Kolokotrones University Professor and Chair of the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School; he is also Chief of the Division of Global Health Equity at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston. Dr. Farmer serves as the U.N. Special Adviser to the Secretary-General on Community Based Medicine and Lessons from Haiti.
All proceeds from this event will go to Maternal Newborn Child Health in Guatemala and Honduras.
