Every year the Canmore Rocky Mountain Half Marathon is blessed to have around 200 volunteers involved in making the race a success, year after year. It's a great way to support a meaningful event, have some fun, and meet some people, all while challenging global poverty! If you'd like to volunteer or have any questions please contact Carolynn at events@cause.ca.

On Sunday, September 9, 2012, we're expecting even more runners to participate and we need your help! There are a number of areas that need to be filled with volunteers:

• Course Marshals (our biggest need)
• Certified Flaggers
• Race Package Pickup Assistants (Thurs & Fri in Calgary, Sat & Sun in Canmore)
• Start/Finish - Set-up/Tear Down
• Food and Beverage Assistants
• Parking Attendants
• Hospitality Bikers (if you like biking, this is for you!)
• Huggers
• Water Distributors

Thanks to all our past volunteers! It's you who help make a difference in the lives of women, children, and communities in the developing world.

If feeling good about yourself and having fun is not enough, all volunteers will receive a long-sleeved shirt, a single-strapped backpack, a water bottle, a free movie rental from Avalanche Movie Co. and lunch provided by either Panago or Subway (your choice while supplies last).
