In April and May of 2009, CAUSE hosted a speaking tour with Theresa Benjamin, a nurse and midwife from Sierra Leone.  Theresa has worked with CAUSE for over 15 years in child and maternal health in Sierra Leone, a nation that has some of the worst rates of health for both children and mothers.  Using song, demonstrations and stories, Theresa shared some of the triumphs and hardships of life for a mother in Sierra Leone.
