Hello Todos Santos

In early August the time finally came for us to move to our new location, Todos Santos. It took us about half a day to pack all of our belongings and clean our rooms and put all the utencils away. It took another half day to put our beds, chairs, tables, etc., in storage, and then we finally packed everything in the back on Jorge's truck.

After what seemed like a really long car journey we finally made it to Todos Santos. The only problem is that we arrived rather late in the afternoon and we could not see clearly all of the surrounding views of Todos Santos, of which we had heard so much about. Since it was a bit late to do much that day, we simply went to have some hot chocolate and called it a night.

The next day, we were rewarded with the picturesque beauty of Todos Santos, but unfortunately we did not get to enjoy it too much as we had to set up all of our things and clean our rooms. After arranging some of our things, we finally went to the CAUSE office to meet the Todos Santos staff. We got introduced to most of the staff, Don Pedro, Placido and Sonia, but we have to say that Don Pedro, the Todos Santos supervisor, is so funny and he has the most infectious laugh.

After a few days in Todos Santos and not having set up all my things the way I would have liked, I headed to Guatemala City.
