At work, my most exciting task has been the community projects. They are an opportunity for the women in the leadership groups to practice their leadership skills. The programs in Honduras and Sierra Leone have done them before, but here in Guatemala it will be the first time.

There seems to be a mass exodus of the gringos in Comitancillo. We´ve been saying good-bye to visitors as well as friends who were working with another NGO. Our own departure date is next Wednesday.

The most interesting events of my trip to Freetown happened shortly after I wrote my last blog. The bus between Kabala and Freetown leaves every day, from either end, at 6 in the morning, so I had to spend an extra night in The Big Freezy (I promise I've never called Freetown that before in my life).
